“Catch your dreams and hold on to them tight. Dreams never fail if you believe in them.”

Summer Eguchi was born as Summer Anela Eguchi in Honolulu Hawaii and best known for her work on The Swan Princess Christmas (2012), eWorld Music Awards 2011 (2011) and Ajumma! Are You Krazy??? (2009).

Summer was learning to dance the Hula and Tahitian at the age of five. By 10 she was playing the role of Princess Ying Yaoalak in the Hawaii Opera Theater’s “THE KING & I” alongside Richard Chamberlain and Jan Maxwell. At 13 she was flying out to Los Angeles to record music with the producer Andrew Lane.

Some people just know at a young age that they’re destined to become a performer and for Summer Eguchi there doesn’t seem to have been any doubt about it.

With songs like Love It and You’ll Never Catch Me she already displays the talent of an accomplished singer with a very bright future stretching out in front of her. With a heritage that includes Hawaiian, Japanese and Filipino, Summer has made a point of giving back to her community by volunteering with organizations like the Hawaii Children’s Cancer Foundation.

Summer already has several credits to her name performing at the 2009 Miss Hawaii/Teen Hawaii USA Pageant at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, hosted a Cable TV show in Hawaii (OC16TV) called “Brown Bags to Stardom” – a weekly Music Video Challenge TV show for High School Students in 2008 to 2009, and held the titles of Hawaii’s Miss Pre-Teen 2008 and won the overall “Hawaii’s Miss Talent 2008”. Summer was also crowned Miss Aloha Tower Pre-Teen 2008.

“When I perform, I feel like I can do anything, like I’m free. It feels like I’m in another world where I’m always happy.” – Summer Eguchi
