Résia (Ray-jah) is from Brooklyn, New York, home to some of the greatest artists in musical history. She sang her first words as a child and has since then emerged into a ‘deep from the soul singer’.
Writing her music has provided her with a forum to share her love of poetic words in motion with her listeners.
She considers herself to be a lover of all genres of music, from pop to rock, rhythm/blues to hip hop, and alternative to sol sounds.
Her inspiration comes from God, family and the drive to make beautiful music. Résia’s first single ‘Love on Fire’ was released June 2014 and is available on iTunes; it gives her audience a taste of her lyrical sound and a glimpse of what is to come.
