Shirnel Kahealani Enos was just 4 years old when she sang her first song on the family karaoke machine. What started out as a fun way to read quickly emerged into a passion for singing. Shirnel entered her first singing competition at the age of 7, began writing lyrics at the age of 10, and finally picked up an ukulele at the age of 14. Combining old lyrics with chords that she learned, Shirnel began to write and compose her own music. By her 16th birthday Shirnel had written enough songs to record a full album. Shirnel began recording, unveiling a few songs through the world wide web, and started to build a little fan base. After Shirnel was offered a full tuition scholarship to the University of Hawaii at Hilo she put her love for music aside to pursue a career in nursing. Now 24, this self taught singer/songwriter has once more set her eyes back on music. With her charismatic and soulful voice, Shirnel is hoping to break in to the music industry and embrace it with arms wide open.
