B Wise has accomplished a lot but in his opinion, he has only scratched the surface of his full potential.
Born and raised in Sydney Australia, since the age of 12 he displayed a passion for writing music but his first public presence originally started off as a party MC in his area. Though not taking himself too serious at the time, B-W was well known around his area for his witty flow and confrontational lyrics. As time went on, Wise managed to nurture this talent and become one of the original members to form the hip hop group Konnected as 1 – or better known as K1. Formed in 2005 he joined with long time friends to create arguably Sydney’s finest hip hop act at that point. Till this date, K1 have released 3 EP’s, 1 LP & 2 mixtapes of which the most current being “The Feel good Muzik mixtape” Hosted By DJ Nino Brown.
In 2010 Wise released his first solo Mixtape called “A word to the wise” which saw more than 700 online download’s in its first 3 weeks without having released a video or previews. The mixtape exposed wise individual talent to hold an audience and deliver a style of Australian hip hop that’s easily his own.
Now in 2012 B Wise has released his second mixtape “The Benchman” Which has been recorded in both Sydney Australia, and London UK, making the mixtape his best work so far in his opinion and to that of fans. As intended Wise saw the project all the way through to gain his presence not only with a group but also as an accomplished solo artist. Wise first single off the mixtape “Show it to em” was added to the number 1 hip hop and culture website in the world (Worldstarhiphop.com) where the music video saw just over 14,000 views in its 1st week and a spike in mixtape downloads. Wise Is now currently promoting the release with a list of performances and radio interviews all while managing to gain the attention of an independent label (The Republic) which in partnership are promoting Wise as their main Hip hop recording artist. While he works on the second segment to the Benchman mixtape Vol 2, He is also preparing to release his 1st EP via a stream of singles.
